Esthwaite Farm is a small cluster of farm buildings converted into holiday apartments - what used to be the pig pen is now the store for the firewood and dustbins.  The Farm is situated on the edge of Near Sawrey with Hill Top, which was the home of Beatrix Potter, just around the corner. There are a number of walks on the doorstep including Claife Heights and Latterbarrow - the walk between Near and Far Sawrey via Garnett Wood is pleasant as well - you will be walking in the footsteps of Beatrix Potter.
