Comet Simulator Flight Deck

The de Havilland Comet was the first commercial jet airliner and first flew in 1949. The original design suffered from some notable failures but, after some modifications, the Comet went on to be a great success.  A variant of the Comet, the Nimrod, remained in service until 2010.  This example is on display at the de Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre.
