Gyron Junior Jet Engine

The de Havilland Gyron Junior was first delivered in 1958. Developing a static thrust of 7,000lb it was used to power the Buccaneer S1.  A 10,000lb static thrust version was capable of powering the Bristol T188 to Mach 2.  This example is on display at the de Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre.
